And here I thought I could Juggle.

Wow.

Well, not sure where this "social life" came from, but it is a strange and interesting development in my life.

Not a bad one, persay, but its interesting nonetheless. Most days this past week, I never even got to see my bed until later then normal, hell, didn't even get to see my computer, except in passing.

Wednesday night, I somehow ended up with overlapping plans, and I don't mean "WoW or go out." No, were it that simple, rt takes precedence. No, I mean, "One friend is over, we have to go to another friend's house, with intent to hang out and have some fun, but I forgot I made plans with another friend more then a week ago to hang out the same night, and someone else needs to get something from my place when they get off work." type of overlapping plans.

So I ended up sending Chris over to Shaun's on his own, then pretty much had to fly from my apartment, into Gerry's car for the night, leaving my cell phone on the charger, so I never got Jenn's text/calls when she wanted to get the ethernet cable from my place. Had to bring it the next day to work.

Thursday wasn't much better, I got highjacked from work, and didn't even get home until sometime after midnight. Of course, at this point as I am sure you can imagine, WoW is feeling pretty neglected.

I actually got a lecture when I finally got on friday. And by a lecture, I mean several LOL It was all in good fun, mind you, as I know they aren't -really- mad at me. They know, as well as I, that rt comes before vt.

So friday I did my running around, got shorted a couple hundred bucks from my paycheck, and dedicated much of the day to WoW, playing, hanging out, did Karazhan in the evening. Though it was a baby sized run, it was fun nonetheless.

Saturday ended up being a lot more eventful then I had anticipated. Watched some Heroes, and middle of the second episode I was watching (around 2:30pm), Holly calls me, wondering if I am up for anything.

So that went from my plans of watching Heroes for a bit and hopping on WoW until 9pm, to going to Montana's for an amazing Burger, then watching Kung Fu Panda (which was pretty amusing for a kids movie with the almost-as-pathetic-as-will-farrell Jack Black.

After that, we had plans to Game at Jenn's place, which was going to start with a meet up at Shaun's.

Well, I grabbed groceries to feed the hungering masses...Ended up making my famous spaghetti sauce (home recipe my mother taught me). Which apparently met with positive reviews.

Our night of gaming, instead turned into a night of chilling, stories, singing badly and off-key to rather loud music, and Shaun recording all of it, for a CD we have labelled, "for the deaf only." Which of course Shaun assured any listener would be, after listening to the Intro.

It was a really fun night, that ended up going until sometime after 3 in the morning before everyone made their way home.

So today, sunday, I won't get to see WoW either, since I have plans with Gerry and company.

You know, until this morning, I never fully realized exactly how much of a heirarchy the group of friends from high school had.

Everyone defers to Gerry, he seems to be the pack leader, so to speak. After that, is Shamus, something of a Leiutenant...My opinions are respected, so it seems, and as such, I fall slightly under Shamus in the system of things, as I defer to Shamus rather often (Ie: Shamus gets Shotgun 97% of the time).

Of course, under that, almost at a level of peon, though he gets the respect of being in the group, is Zac....Its strange, yet I imagine it is rather common for most groups of friends. Not very often have I seen it, but it does exist I suppose.

In any event, my ride is on its way, and I am off for the afternoon.

Peace out,

The Zodiak

Lucky Me

So, to start it off, I'm posting right now, instead of working, because I can't seem to stop throwing up anything I put down. My stomach is roiling, and just doesn't seem completely calmed down as of yet.

Why? No idea. Best explanation I can come up with, is bad chinese food. Which makes me wonder what I ate, that my three friends did not. The doctor said mild food poisoning, one to two days recovery and I should be alright. Well, this is day two, and I feel a little better, but still feel nauseous.

Weekend was interesting, to say the least. Paid my rent, got some groceries (by some, I mean none, and by none, I mean I bought a bunch of energy drinks). Saturday, was sitting down, watching tv, about to break into my new book(s)...When my phone rings.

Was kind of strange to hear from TK, after she'd dumped me a week before we had even gone out. However, I've seen weirder situations, and honestly, she was a friend before a love interest, and I saw no reason to blow that part of it up, just because the latter already did.

So she wanted to head out for coffee, which was cool by me. She actually ended up footing the bill for the day, which makes me note it on my mental catalogue that the tab is mine, next time around.

Though, I have to make a note to ask her, if we're friends now, does that mean that she can hook me up with one of her own friends? After all, that -is- what friends do, right? LOL

I find that an unlikely option, but never hurts to toss it out there, even in jest.

Sunday was the fun day. In order to get my energy drinks on saturday, I agreed to help Jenn move. Which is no biggy...Granted, it was a bit more of an undertaking than I had anticipated.

Her stuff? Easy enough, I could only help a little with it, sadly, muscular dystrophy makes for difficuly heavy lifting. Her mother's place...Which was our first stop...Now there was a disaster. The apartment wasn't cleaned, wasn't packed, and what -was- packed, was thrown pell mell into whatever was handy.

A less than pleasant experience, to say the least. Poor Shaun ended up hurting his thumb, trying to intercept a purse I was trying to catch. Ah well, that is what you get for being a horde lover, mother nature just takes a hate out on you and tries to find ways to hurt you. Remember that Shaun, you should change to Alliance. *sage nod*

After the second trip, (we went from her mother's to the new apt, then from her place to the new apt), I could barely stand. Which honestly isn't saying much, considering I did perhaps half the lifting Chris did (as in the guy who got into too much booze awhile back).

He was about as exhausted, and Shaun and Rebecca already called it quits after they moved Jenn's stuff (which was their original agreement). As much as we wanted to continue, well, myself and Chris at least, we were rather exhausted and unable to continue.

Shaun spotted me for Chinese, which is the issue with my current malady...Though I don't blame him, the food was delicious, and the conversation was excellent. Can't blame after effects on anyone by the resteraunt and metabolism.

Called the doctor monday morning, curled around my toilet, made an appointment for that afternoon. Vomited into a creek on the way (wasn't noticed, thankfully), and was told to take pepto bismol (which I don't have atm), and rest, that it would pass in the next day or so.

Today, still not so hot. Called in sick, thought to call in late and try and make it in, but just couldn't manage it. My stomach seems slightly better right now, so perhaps I'll be perfectly fine for tomorrow, if they want to fire me for attendance.

Ah well, least I'm paid up in rent and the like for the month of June. So it would end up being the best time to get dropped, have a whole month to find another job, right?

Not my goal, mind you. Just planning for the worst, which is my usual optimism.

Peace,

The Zodiak.
